Discografia Winds

Una de las bandas que me llamaron mucho la atencion y que escucho a menudo es Winds, banda noruega de metal progresivo, bastante oscura con toques de musica clasica en su teclado, letras que hablan sobre el existencialismo y filosofia astral como ellos lo llaman

Formada por musicos de otras bandas, se puede decir que Winds nacio como un proyecto que lo conforma Hellhammer (Jan Axel von Blomberg) baterista de la banda de black metal Mayhem, Andy Winter pianista, Carl August Tidemann guitarrista en Tritonus y Arcturus y el vocalista Lars Erik Stang Sætheren (Eikind) haciendo un metal progresivo bastante oscuro, con toques neoclasicos en viola, violin y cello hacen que esta banda sea bastante llamativa.

Con un Ep y 3 discos en estudio (hasta el momento) Winds es una excelente banda que destaca bastante sobre el estilo como antes mencionaba, haciendo un metal prog muy interesante por el toque neo clasico y la oscuridad que tienen sus letras y musica.

Altamente recomendada.

Beyond Twilight - Discografia.

Beyond Twilight es una banda de metal progresivo formada en Dinamarca, primeramente llamados Twilight pero por problemas legales se cambiaron a  Beyond Twilight lanzando su EP Lurking Fantasia (1999) creando un metal progresivo muy llamativo, arreglos de teclados muy melodicos y la guitarra de
Anders Ericson Kragh que acompaña muy bien el disco.

Luego de sacar su primer demo y tener muy buenas critica s junto al excelente vocalista Jorn Lande publican su segundo (y a mi parecer el mejor de los 3 en estudio ) The Devils Hall Of Fame (2002) donde son reconocidos en la escena metalera mundial. Despues de este tremendo disco, por motivos personales se retira Jorn llegando a las filas de BT  Kelly Sundown Carpenter un excelente vocalista norteamericano. De esta forma la banda toma un griro mucho mas progresivo y lanzan sus proximos 2 discos Section X (2005)  y For The Love Of Art And The Making (2006) que son excelentes trabajos.

Recomiendo escuchar la banda desde sus inicios, pero el disco The Devils Hall Of Fame es para mi el mejor (me gusta mucho el despliegue vocal que tiene Jorn en todos sus trabajos y en especial en este disco)
